I also love this show, I missed the first 30 minutes last night. Episode 4 is on now. James Fleet is the gentleman who lives in the VW van, he starred in the Vicar of Dibley, and in Four Weddings and a Funeral. 

Nicola Walker who is the head detective also appeared in Four Weddings and a Funeral. She was part of a folk singing duo in the first wedding. She was so young. 

Sunny was in Nottinghill, he was the rude man in a restaurant.

Nicola Walker was in the miniseries "River" with Stellan Skarsgard, also. 

 

Thought I'd throw in my two cents, or two pence as they say in the mother country.

         I am really liking this show.  Had not seen the series before.  Love how they are putting the storyline in motion. I liked Nicola in the Last Tango In Halifax series too!!
