Ulta sells more than make up they also sell fragrance and hair care

@PA Mom-mom Because you don't NEED it. But, makeup is fun! Nail polish is fun! Fragrance is a way to express yourself, too. And, it's fun.

And, we do need shampoo, soap & lotions. Well, I do.

At the bottom line, it's still all about "beautiful" and the idea that women are valued for "beauty." The overall message is "beauty."

It's not about the person you are. While it seems to say that with the lyrics, the main thing you hear is "beauty" as it relates to the physical image.

I don't take commercials seriously but I think the message is that Ulta can help us enhance our own individual beauty. The commerical isn't saying roll out of bed and you're beautiful just as you are...LOL
