I just heard Moonlighting's and it almost gave chills. Written by Al Jarreau. I don't know if he sang it also. I also like McMillian and Wife by Henry Mancini . Any favorites you can turn me onto? I like to listen to them on YouTube.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I was hoping that you saw Moonlighting somewhere on TV.  One of my favorite series!

I love the theme song on Newhart, the series set at the Vermont Inn.  I think Mancini wrote it.

Yes, Al Jarreau did sing the theme. I also love the Newhart theme and most of Henry Mancini's work.

Mannix theme,

Naked City,

Vegas (starring Robert Urich)

 M.A.S.H. theme with lyrics.

Ironside, written and performed by Quincy Jones

Baretta, sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

I wish shows today had theme songs.

Re: Tv Theme Songs

[ Edited ]

I like instrumental TV themes best.

My absolute favorite is “Hawaii 5-0” by The Ventures.

The TV themes for “The Avengers” & “The Wild, Wild, West” are good too.

I agree, also like the song for the opening of The Bob Newhart Show set in Chicago.

Oh, yeah, he sang it all right. Talk about chills? Whew!

I didn't realize he wrote the song. Loved him.
