To be honest....for being dead passout drunk in the

middle of the afternoon, while in traffic (you know it’s bad),

he doesn’t take a 1/2 bad mug shot.  He almost doesn’t

look impaired...scruffy, yes but drunk? Not really.

Not the first, and probably not the last, pitchman to lose a job over bad behavior.

The "nice young man" (see eta below) who did Dell commercials in 2000-2003...I don't remember what he did wrong.

The comedian (name escapes me) who did the Aflac voice, after an inappropriate comment/joke.

And who can forget Jared from Subway.

I'm sure there are others I've forgotten.

eta...Ben Curtis, arrested for weed in 2003.

When I first saw that mug shot the day I posted this thread I thought "in that photo he looks a little like Anderson Cooper!"   I never thought that when I'd see his commercials.

I saw a new commercial (at least I hadn't seen it before) with this guy in the last day or two.  I guess they're sticking with him?

He's still around so he hasn't been fired yet.  Unless there is a morals clause in his contract it looks like he will be able to finish out with Trivago until the contract expires.
