What a fun episode! Sad that Charbel had to go, I liked him. But his elimination dish was so plain and meh. Gotta step up bigger at this level. Tom needed that win. He's so creative but until last night his creativity didn't always mesh with execution. . Ok gotta say it- didn't Judge Tom look like a complete dork blowing his whistle 😂 so awkward lol

Normally, I hate restraunt wars, but I liked the changed concept last night. RW always stresses me out, but I was glad they had an actual Front of House person and the chefs just had to cook.
I kind of fell asleep during judges table though--can someone tell me why Root was the losing team? I always get the feeling that Tom does enough to save himself, but lets his team fail--it's okay as long as he comes out on top.
I did wake up in time to see the elimination and pretty much agreed with it.

Does there have to be multiple Top Chef threads? I don't think a weekly thread is necessary. Not many of us post--it's not like this thread is hundreds of pages long.
