@Pearlee - Supposedly those three were very close friends in real life. I remember Run For Your LIfe - liked the showi. Gazzara directed a couple of Columbo episodes.

Hi @Pearlee no I was feuding with my Comcast friends as my internet was out . . . again . . . . grrrrrr. I was running around doing errands so I missed it this morning but another great episode (and please know you made me laugh out loud about the pre-nose job comment, tee hee) . . .

How many of those horrible color suits do you think Columbo wore?

@lulu2 I never notice his suits; I usually just notice the raincoat.
With the exception of a few early episodes, Columbo wore the same suit the entire run of the series. The raincoat was sometimes left in the car, but the ugly suit, skinny tie and scuffed brown shoes were always on.
He did dress up occasionally.

@lulu2 My attention was elsewhere.

Tomorrow's episode at 9:00 a.m. on HMM is "Dagger of the Mind." I don't recall this one at all, but might know it if I start watching it. IMdB link is below with plot and cast. Columbo is in London. It's from 1972.

I love Columbo! I remember seeing them on TV in the 70s. I own all the episodes and the movies made later. I watch very little current TV; I am just not that interested in most of what is offered today so my DVD collection of Columbo and other old shows and movies from the past is my TV time.

Tonight's Columbo is a favorite of mine, even though it's a later one from 1989 and I've seen it about a million times. S*x and the Married Detective.
Lindsey Crouse is terrific as a s*x therapist who kills her cheating boyfriend at the beginning of the show, by dressing up like a call girl and meeting him in a bar to "spice things up." She wears a wig and provocative clothing, etc. to disguise herself.
I like her in anything - she's great. And Columbo, the happily married detective, is embarrassed by a lot of the s*x therapist stuff and her candid talk.
A good one. Anyone else have comments on this episode?
