Forgive me for being stupid as I haven't seen the film, but why was Tom Hanks considered for Best Supporting Actor rather than Best Actor for "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood"?
After all, Fred Rogers was the main character, wasn't he?

Thanks @bikerbabe, I was curious too and didn't see the movie, I assumed it was all about Mr. Rogers.
