I think he did it because he didn't want his movie production shut down if the help started getting COVID.

I know I am NOT the only one who noticed the "handcuffs."

Also, that audio/video rant is just a publicity stunt to promote the movie. He got just what he wanted, tv & radio coverage. It's all I've been hearing all day long! I know the whole rant by heart front & backwards.

I really love his movies. Like the other poster stated, he is really showing his age in that photo.

Yes suprised to see that photo but understand we all are getting older (I know I see myself in the mirror ewww) but he is a good actor and enjoyed his movies. I do think he was right to tell the crew to mask up & obey covid rules. This year has been an unexpected time for all of us trying to deal with all of this. I do not agree with his personal life, religion but that isn't for me to judge. Suprised anyone is filming at this time. Hope if everyone filming & doing good can continue to go back to their jobs.

According to Leah Remini Sci-togs believe Covid 19 is a non-issue. So, this rant of TC was all a publicity stunt IMHO.

@silkyk ...I'm in the minority here but I don't care...lol...Too much of a big deal was made over this...I think Tom Cruise looked very happy and was just enjoying and having a good time at what was, obviously, a very exciting time in his life...Nothing was said about the audience and how they were screaming and jumping up and down...all hysterical over seeing him...I see two people who were caught up in a very happy and exciting time in their lives...
