Looks like Tom dodged a bullet. 

Words from her ex-husband:

He claimed that during his marriage to Khayrova, he spent millions of dollars buying clothes, handbags, and other pricey items to satisfy her "expensive and luxurious taste."

Given her expectations for such luxury, Tsvetkov believes that any new man entering his ex's life should be ready to match or even exceed those expenditures.

"Irrespective of whoever she's with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste," 

At the time, Tsvetkov stated that "Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open" but noted that he was "happy" for Khayrova and wished her "all the best."

She probably wasn't acceptable gf or marriage material within his "cult." Poor Tom is so sucked into that thing...but otherwise such a talented, successful actor, good looking guy.

TG Maverick was the best movie I've seen in a long time. I'm no big Tom fan, but loved that movie. Well done...and to me, it's hard to make a sequel stand up to the original...this is one of those rare cases that, I think, surpassed it. But....I digress...

She may have dodged a bullet, too. Tom‘s ex-wives don’t have many good things to say about him either. Although I realize there are two sides to everything so I would take remarks like that with a grain of salt.
