So this is my annual thread, starting each new season, I LOVE the show I just have to! I got the following from the Today Show website. " The 2 hour episode premieres on November 10. "The episode will find the Pearsons dealing with many of the same pressing issues viewers are including the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protest.

Following up Kevin's impending fatherhood, his rift with Randall, Kate and Toby's decision to adopt, and Rebecca's worsening health".

Thanks for the update, Jordan.  Smiley Happy

Reading your synopsis from the previous season reminds me that I have absolutely no recollection as to how it ended.   They will probably re-run episodes before the new season so I'm going to see if I can record that last episode to watch again.   I used to have such a great memory.  Smiley Sad

It's been so long and so much has happened in real life that I don't even remember how the show ended.  I watch TV for entertainment, I really don't want to see the worst of 2020 in my TV programs.  Although, I'm sure it's unavoidable.

@chickenbutt I am weird. I have on my DVR the last episodes of This Is Us, God Friended Me, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, How To Get Away With Murder, Blindspot, Perry Mason, Live With Kelly and Ryan's tribute to Regis, and Songland with Ben Platt. Mind you I haven't watched any of them since I originally saw it, but feel the need to save them!

This is the only show I watch regularly, so good to know. Thanks @Jordan2 .

Wow, really? This is the premise of season 5 of "This is Us"? How disappointing. Sorry, but I like to watch tv to get away from todays problems. And now this show is bringing these said issues into their storyline? Not interested in watching if this is true. Too bad, this show was rather good. Woman Sad

@ID2   Agree 100%.  I really like this show but making it political is a big turn-off.

We get enough of current events in the news.

@ID2  Agree. I like the actors and really enjoyed the show when it began, but oh, I would love to watch a show where good things happen. I'll tune in again this season but will want to view some positive moments or may have to let it slide. It's the sign of the times, perhaps.
