So, after just five episodes, we now are left to wait until January 5th for the series to resume?...I agree @Jordan2  that they should have just started the series in January and continued on without leaving us with such a large gap...We're talking about seven weeks before it resumes again.

There were only 4 episodes, the 2 parter , then 2 more.

@Shelbelle ...Yes, I know but I was counting the double 1 hour episodes as two separate episodes in one night and then the three separate episodes afterwards.

I guess I'm getting just as complicated as the series is!...lol

There were only 4 episodes, 2 on Oct 27, one on Nov 10 and one on Nov 18.  No show on Nov 3 due to election.

Is it possible that the Vietnamese man is Randall's father?  His mother could have gotten pregnant by him and took off and hooked up with William??  I don't know where the little girl comes into play.  Maybe Randall's mother had another child with the Vietnamese man and left that child with him when she became pregnant with Randall.  Perhaps the child is her grandchild??

Just throwing out ideas.  We have 7 weeks to ponder this.  Woman Wink

Did anyone notice the lump on the side of Kate's face?  It was very noticeable in the scene where she is in the car driving and talking to Kevin.  From a front view it wasn't as noticeable, but the sideview was very strange.  Am I the only that saw this?

I think she had an abortion as a teen.  The look on her face when the birth mother said she considered having an abortion kind of gave it away.  And then when Kate said, "no judgement" I have to think that is what happened.

finally, all caught up.......

so far, i am enjoying this season. was not happy to hear about the break.

i think they are doing a good job of following each of the big three and showing their flashbacks, especially in this fourth episode.

I can't wait for tomorrow night, my show returns! Tuesday is a good night, starting the night with Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, ending with Nurses with This Is Us sandwiched in between the two.

Madison seemed like she expected Kevin to quit acting to be with her 24/7. She knew what he does for a living.  I get that she was surprised to learn he thought the whole family would be traveling to movie sets, and that's not the life she imagined.  Did she say he'll be back five weeks before the due date?  Because you know those twins are coming early, as twins usually do, and he won't be there.  I don't remember in the flash forward if it was mentioned Kevin had twins or if we only saw the son.  I'm wondering if Madison or one of the babies is going to die.

Speaking of dying, I'm so happy Laurel is dead.  Still don't understand how William didn't know. Don't care one bit about seeing where she lived, but we'll see what the writers come up with to explain this unbelievable story. I wonder how many half-siblings Randall is going to find. Ugh.

Next week's episode was promoed as an exceptional episode. There are so many twists and turns concerning Randall's parentage. I'm glad it was cleared up that William didn't lie to Randall, if Randall is to be angry with someone let it be his birth mom ( although we don't have all the information about her story).
