Theodore Roosevelt miniseries

May 30-31 Tonight is the first night of a panoramic view of the life and career of Theodore Roosevelt on the History Channel. He was a real character and this two-night series should show it all. If you are a Teddy fan, as I am, make sure to see it.

@Duckncover,   an extraordinary, complex, endlessly fascinating figure!  I'm sure the miniseries will be riveting.

The first night was great....the actor playing Roosevelt, Rufus Jones, is British, but you would never know it. He is very believable as Teddy Roosevelt.

There was a mini-series on PBS a few years ago entitled, The Roosevelts. Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor. So good!!!

I am watching Part 2 tonight....excellent. I think if this sort of documentary for our famous leaders were presented in schools, a lot more kids would be interested in history. But, of course, who is going to create them!

It's refreshing to see a historical documentary that's not "Ken Burns."
