@SharkE You need to see the ending because there is an odd twist but shhhhhh... Neville (Jones) is the culprit... Even though it isn't as simple as that...

That is probably my favorite Faye Dunaway and/or Tommy Lee Jones movie!  Love the moodiness of it, the campy suspense, and as @stevieb alluded to, the twists.

The musical score is perfect for the period, and the movie.

yeah, ok , he was the killer, but, what was his beef with her ?

I left off when he was blowing off something about some kid that got left at

home while his mother hooked on the streets.

Was he the kid and what did that have to do with Laura ?

I used to have a pal who was a cop and she always said look to the

person closest to the person in question.

that's why they always suspect the husband or wife in a murder , what happened to so and so disappearance case.

The short version is he was a mental case... In the end, he wants her to kill him, which she does...

LOL she came across as a wimpy type I'm surprised she did.

I liked her better as Joan Crawford and Evita (Peron)

Be glad when that Evita is out on DVD.

I'll be dead as Evita if it ever comes out.

@SharkE  He forces her to kill him... As I remember, he actually grabs her hand and pulls the trigger...

He had a split personality, that's why he talked in the third person during his confession. His mom was a prostitute and left him alone while she worked. He grew up bitter and hating women and developed an alter that acted out on his rage.
