Re: The Walking Dead Final Episodes of the Series

I invested just over 8 seasons, having quit in Season 9, Episode 2, of the show.  I kind of wonder how it will end but I'm not sure enough to watch.  I don't even know what season number this is, so I don't know how much I missed.

I just got tired of so much of the same stuff over and over and over, AND of bad guys getting away with horrible deeds for so long with no repercussions.  At the point I quit, I just suddenly felt like I couldn't take another minute.

I seldom quit a show, having invested so much in it.

Re: The Walking Dead Final Episodes of the Series

I first heard about TWD from the graphic novels, before any talk of the series.

The graphic novels are so GRAPHIC I actually quit reading about the time Rick & the gang found Alexandria, can you imagine just how bad it had to be??

It wasn't just the visuals portrayed, it was the words too & the evil behind the words.   The actual series is a picnic compared to the novels.  Maybe that's why I've hung in there so long.

Not us.   The show lost us in the episode where Glenn was killed so graphically.  That crossed the line for us.  Human on human violence wasn't what we wanted to watch.
