I was surprised Jennifer was not back as it would be good promotion for her Aretha Franklin movie.

 

Maybe she'll come back next time, closer to the release date.

 

I think Blake has a lot of pull at this point, so he probably has a say in deciding who to put in the chair.  I think because Gwen's Vegas show is over now, she has the time (as does every other musical artist on the planet).

It makes sense to have Gwen since she's quarantining with Blake. One less potential covid complication!
