We're enjoying it so far.   The block button was better than we expected.   We'd have bet money that Adam would block Blake.  Gave us a great laugh.

Kelly Clarkson is soooooo obnoxious on 'The Voice'!!!! Can't & won't watch.

The first contestant on Monday evening was terrible, and they all thought she was fantastic, dumb Adam saying she had the best voice of any contestant ever on the show,  unbelievable, but then he can't sing either, so that figures.  She may turn out to be better later on, but I was in shock at they they all reacted.

Otherwise, I am enjoying the show, and I really liked the Latino singer on Monday, hope he goes far in the contest, he should, but then I have seen people who couldn't sing at all, go very far, and great singers dismissed.

The first contestant and the last contestant were both underwhelming.  I don't get the high praise.  I don't know how exactly they do it, but I'm convinced that there is some manipulation by the show producers that ensure some preselected contestants are guaranteed to advance to the next round.

I completely disagree that some are guaranteed to advance.  With rare exceptions the better singer is usually the one to advance.  I don't think singing competitions are rigged.

I sometimes wonder if the sound is different in that huge room than what comes across  on my TV.  Because occasionally when the judges seem to think highly of a singer, it is one that I thought did poorly!!  So, it could be that, or it could be that they do "push" a few of them through.

I must say that I won't like the show quite as much without Blake, if/when he leaves, because he is my favorite.  I do not like Gwen as a judge, and Adam is just so/so, in my opinion.  Kelly is going a little overboard with her actions so far, or it could just be me. But she seems too much "attention seeking" if that makes sense.   Alicia has a way with words when she is trying to get a singer on her team.  All in all, The Voice is one of my favorite TV shows, but like all good things, it will someday end, too!!

They listen for things we have no clue about.  And I'll wager that like us, most don't like the singer if they don't like the song.  And once America starts voting it's anyone's guess.

Blake is my favorite as well.  Not sure I will watch if he leaves.

Has anyone noticed Carson Daly's role as host seems to have been diminished? In past seasons, he was always on stage with the contestants. Now it seems, the only airtime he gets is backstage with the families.
