Congratulations to Meghan on the new baby! I will be curious to see who they get to fill in for her while she takes time off.

I enjoy watching The View. Sometimes I disagree with 1 host, then the next segment I agree with them. It's interesting topics usually vs just fawning over celebrities like on many talk shows.

I wish they would not have changed it to the "political" View. I liked it better when there was more of a variety of topics and everyone seemed happier.

they usually do have a variety of topics in many subject matters. today they even had other segments. you do have to watch the entire show to see all that they feature.

this is an important political period of time, so naturally they are focusing on that.....and i like it.

Season 24 is going strong! We’re #1 in households among all daytime network and syndicated talk shows.

I can't believe this show has been on for 24 years! I have seen it but never have the time to watch it... It must have good ratings!

Especially this year, when many have spent a lot of time at home, this show provides what I call "water cooler conversation".   The small talk that happens between co-workers at odd moments or on breaks.  (Maybe there's a better term, but none come to mind.)

Advertisers used to cater to the first two groups that come to mind ...  stay at home moms, and retired folks.   Now, with a greater cross section of people watching, I bet the ratings are even better than usual.

Anna Navarro is the 4th host most of the time, but the other day they had on Cindy McCain. Very interesting. Some days I watch it and some days I find it unbearable. If I start shouting at the TV, it's time for me to move to HGTV.

Originally, the concept was to be about women from different walks of life, together, discussing issues that pertain to women. I found that to be fun to watch. I especially enjoyed Lisa Ling's perspective as a journalist who took her job seriously and covered informative projects. Barbara was actually my least favorite member, even though the was the producer. Star Jones became unbearable. Once Lisa left, they veered into this political thing and started trying numerous options, most of which didn't fit at all. The addition of Elizabeth Hasselback and Rosie O'Donnell was the worst!!! I wish they would go back to the old original format.

My gosh..........A couple of months ago I wrote that I hadn't seen this show in ages, and didn't know it was still around.

Same with Ellen Show.

I must be watching something else at the same time slot.

I'll have to search to find the time and channel.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@sunshine45 I just saw this picture on Today's website. You can't really see the baby, but your not suppose too. Meghan looks really happy and she looks great without the makeup.
