The View - Darlene Love Christmas Song

The only time I tape the View is the day before their Christmas break and Darlene Love sings. The fast forward to her singing in the last 10 minutes.

That woman is spectacular. She is 81 years old. Great voice and beautiful to boot.

My DD's one boss has gone to her concerts in the last couple years, said she is great.

I loved her as Danny Glover's wife in the Lethal Weapon movies too.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 I saw her this morning too. She is still amazing and she looks fabulous. She still has a strong voice. I heard her on the radio when she first recorded Christmas in 1964.

The music from the 60's was wonderful. I loved dancing to all those Motown greats, during my high school years.

I love her! I can’t believe she is 81. What a beauty. I know it is really Christmas when I hear her sing. I don’t watch the view anymore, so I’ll have to watch it online.

She did a wonderful documentary called "20 Feet from Stardom."

It was so interesting and she is amazing.

@LyndaGee The young man was Rob Thomas. He was/is lead singer of Matchbox Twenty. My DD had to tell me. I thought he was lead singer of a band but had no idea who.

Wow, I didn't recognize him! Thank you. His song with Santana called:"Smooth" is a favorite.
