Does anyone else wonder why we see Grace as a little girl during the show opening? Interesting name too - Grace.
I do. And I'm also wondering if the song they play has any meaning....
The show Coroner's main character is sleepwalking in response to a childhood trauma.....Dream a Little Dream?

I noticed blood on one of the bubbles that popped. Maybe Grace witnessed something as a kid and I'm thinking the song may allude to a dream like state or fugue.

I am probably reading way too much into this, but a parent can't just enroll their child in an elite private school even if they have the money to pay the tuition. There are all kinds of hoops the parents have to jump through, such as application forms, references, did the student attend the "right" pre-school, etc. etc. So having the victim's son get into that school is a mystery, just how did he get in and why did his mother want him there?
@DottieBlue I was under the impression that Donald Sutherland character is either a billionaire or a multi-millionaire. His penthouse apt has million dollar art all over the apt, has a private chauffeur & a maid too! For all I know, he is one of the school's benefactors, head of the board of directors or owns the school out right as well as the building he's living in!
And another thing I noted.....
AFTER Grace father mentioned that he gave $500.000 to his SIL, Grace kind of blurted out that Jonathan NEARLY drained THEIR account yet, Grace told her father that HER account was "ok." Where did it all go that he had to have a PD?

Ok, now I'm going to have to watch this.

I haven't watched Episode 3 yet, so I need to catch up later on....From reading your posts, it definitely sounds like it is becoming more intriguing and complicated with each episode, which I love in a series...I will have it all solved once I catch up!...LOL

I meant that I was wondering how Elana's son got into the elite private school since they obviously weren't multi-millionaires and wouldn't have had the "right" connections. A scholarship would have made sense, but it was said that he wasn't on a scholarship. So I was wondering how did he get in and who paid for his tuition?
Of course Grace and Jonathan's son would easily get into that school.
I don't remember the scene about Grace's father giving his SIL a half million dollars? I thought it was Jonathan that he gave the half-million dollars to. And I agree, how could Jonathan qualify for a PD? He probably wears a Rolex watch that he could sell to help pay attorney fees!
Lovin' this show! Fun to discuss.

@DottieBlue "So I was wondering how did he get in and who paid for his tuition?"
I'm thinking through Jonathan because he was his patient, Jonathan cured him & a way to to keep his "affair" w/the boys mother on going.
Also, through Jonathan's "family" connections. Easy shoo-in & no red tape or hoops to jump through. It's the only explanation I can come up with.
I do not believe for one minute that Elana was stalking Jonathan. I believe it was the other way around.

I am watching this also. I could have swore I saw the show on either Netflix or Amazon also. Maybe I'm wrong I didn't check into it. I'm not trying to figure anything out like I would normally do just going with the flow. It's the same as they always do in shows like this try to make us think everyone did it.

I thought the exact same thing. There's something unusual and secretive about him. It would be a kicker wouldn't it.

Wow, this is some series!...I find myself all over the place with my thoughts and suspicions.
I've always wondered from the beginning why Elena's husband wasn't concerned when she didn't return home all night after attending the fundraiser event...When their son asked where his mother was the next morning, Elena's husband just told him that she was probably in her art studio...but wouldn't Elena's husband have missed her not coming home at all?...Also, rather than the son just heading to school that morning, he seemed concerned and was anxious in heading to his mom's art studio instead...Did he have reason to suspect something...I don't know, it is just something that stood out to me.
I have also been curious as to why the detectives have been so hard on Grace from the very beginning and have always seemed very suspicious of her....After just catching up with the last episode, I see now where they have a video showing Grace in the area of Elena's apartment the night of her murder....I'm now thinking that perhaps Grace has had knowledge all along of Jonathan and Elena being involved with each other....Those flashbacks that she has been having through this series indicate that she knows more than she is letting on and has even observed Elena and Jonathan together.
Also, Henry (Grace & Jonathan's son) appears to be acting somewhat strangely at times.
As far as Jonathan paying for Elena's son's tuition into Reardon, I think it was a way for him to pacify her as she was becoming more demanding and threatening of him and his marriage....That is why she got herself involved in the school's committee, so that she could have access to Grace.
And Sylvia, Grace's attorney friend, I think that she is involved in this whole mess somehow also.
Jonathan is pathetic...He claims Elena was obsessed with him, so I guess we are to feel sorry for the poor guy for carrying on an affair with her and losing his job and betraying his wife because Elena cast some spell over him causing him to have no control whatsoever over his actions/behavior!
Is this all sounding confusing?...Yeah, I know!...lol
