I've never heard of Pam Hupp.

 

I just watched the first 2 episodes.  She's very strange.  I think Renee Z. really nailed the character.

This show was portrayed as a dark satire in order to shame the bungling of this case from the very start by the police, the prosecutor, the judge and the jury.  They convicted an innocent man of murder with no evidence.  They let the murderer stay free so she could commit two more murders before they finally nabbed her.  

The whole thing was a circus from beginning to end.  So, Dateline portrayed this case as a circus to show just how ridiculous this case was handled.

Are we tired of “winning” yet?
