The Talk can take a permanent hiatus.  It's a shame because they DID have some interesting and kind hosts during the years but a couple of those in the current group should be LONG gone.  For example, the way Marie was treated was just terrible and yet she showed up for the show and practiced nothing but kindness and class while a couple others have not.  I believe everyone has a right to their opinion but some of hosts feel their opinion is the ONLY opinion.  Just a shame.  Respect has gone out the window.

The surprising thing was Sheryl and the others had cards and they didn't give Sharon any  advance notice  , even if you don't like sharon ,it sure seems like a set up to me. and that was totally un professional of the producers , she has been there since day 1. That being said the show sucks anyway , The way they got rid of Marie Osmond didn't help.

I've never seen either one of these talk shows, so maybe I shouldn't comment. But @Mumof2 - I think you said it all.

 I welcome a good disagreement, if both parties are conscious of each other's feelings. But once it becomes MEAN I will walk away. 

I HAVE seen clips online from both shows. I see women yelling and talking over each other and not respecting each other's views. IMO too much meanness.

The way some are talking it's like they know everything they read is a fact.  If I do not like a show I just don't watch!

I don't watch The Talk.  I will have to look into this to see what is going on.

oh @Spurt .....there is still PLENTY of divide left to have them go on for YEARS! i have no doubt in my mind. it hasnt just been ONE main focus at all, but MULTIPLE focuses.

@software I think free speech has gone out of fashion for quite some time now.  I don't see it coming back either.  The book burning has already begun. . .

@10sluvr ...  The View meets the same political slant as ABC so they won't cancel it and my guess is "The Talk" participants are likewise undergoing some "political correctness" training ...  ugh ...  I also refer to The Batchelor show ... Cancel culture is alive and well ...

I agree.  Wanting to see it "go away" because you don't like it is a bit much.  Just don't watch.
