It's actually a very good movie taking place at a very unsettling time in history. I'm not a big Julie Andrews fan, but i do enjoy Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews interaction with the children is enjoyable to watch. It's definitely a movie worth viewing at least once.

A lovely story. The music is so pretty and Andrews can sing so beautifully. I love the back story of the Nazi occupation of Austria.

One of the greatest soundtrack ever. The music is lovely and as many times as I've seen this film, I always treat up when Plummer sings Edelweiss (or rather when he lip-synchs it.)
