I left off a show on the list, sorry! Ratched September 18 on Netflix. " Just what the doctor ordered! I've loved to hate nasty nurse Mildred Ratched ever since I saw One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest years ago, and I've binged all of Ryan Murphy's deliciously twisted series several times over. So to get an origin story about the lobotomy-loving villian (played here by the chameleonic Sarah Paulson) from the man who dreamed up American Horror Story is a true delight. By the way, my idea of a delight is partially hiding my eyes while bracing for the next scare"-Eric Andersson.

I miss the days of TV Guide's annual September issue, double the normal size, in which they highlighted all the new shows.  They'd provide a onepage synposis, with pictures.   Ahh, the good old days . . .
