This airs on HBO on Saturday November 7 at 8:00. It will of course not be live but will be taped. Inductees are T.Rex, The Doobie Brothers, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G, and Whitney Houston. It shouldn't be called Rock & Roll, because let's face it a lot of members fall into other genres of music.

We got rid of HBO but I love the Rock & Roll Hall of fame shows. The performances are awesome!

Doobies and Whitney are the only ones I have ever heard of.

Marc Bolan has been dead for 43 years and the band declined after his death.

@Jordan2 Yes it's stupid to call most of this rock and roll.  They need to come to grips with that and end the run on it.  What, are the Stones the only ones left alive?  And the Stones?  Who would have thunk it!

Speaking of T-Rex. Did anyone notice, that in a video of the hit Bang a Gong, a very young Elton John was playing the Keyboard? I love EJ the best!
