@Icegoddess  If you have the channel TNT on your direct tv service you should be able to see The Pitt when it comes on next month.

i looked up the direct tv website and it looks like the TNT network is on channel 245. Not sure of the package you have but it might be posssible. Smiley Happy

@Hemi 659 I know that.  Shellbelle and I were talking about getting into a show that we wouldn't then be able to watch the next season of.

Also we will probably have to wait almost a year to see the 2nd season. My memory is not as good as it used to be !!!!

Re: The Pitt to be shown on TNT

BTW, I cut the cord a long time ago and don't have cable, fiber optic, or satellite TV.

I've no need for tons of channels and I don't watch live TV.

I like choosing exactly the content I want to watch.

Re: The Pitt to be shown on TNT

You could wait until all of Season 2 of the Pitt drops in January or whenever the last episode is dropped, then subscribe to Max for one month, binge both seasons, and then cancel.  Probabaly cost altogether 10 or 12 bucks.  That is what i do.

So maybe next year this time they will show Season 2 on TNT.

@Shelbelle I hope so, it won't be the first time I get interested in a show and then it never comes back on cable after a preview season.

Re: The Pitt to be shown on TNT

I watched all of episode 1, some of 2 and  some of 3, I liked it but it seemed a bit cold to me, not much on the personal lives of these characters. Nice to see Dr John Carter all grown up.

I watched the 1st episode and I will continue on. Always liked medical dramas.

So far, I've only seen the first two episodes, but I like it.  I like the fact that they haven't yet delved into the personal lives of the main characters.  Too many shows spend way too much time on that aspect, IMO.  I don't need to bond with the characters.

Spoiler
Shades of Chicago Med, but so far without the Halstead character who breaks the rules to fix the bad decisions of a loved one.  Dr. Robby obviously tried to steer relatives of the elderly man to let him go, but couldn't flat out tell them that.  Although he and a coworker discuss options, in the end he must intubate the old man.  That scene of him prepping for the procedure knowing how he feels about it was quite touching to me.
