I recorded the Pelican Brief last night and just finished it.  I saw it when it came out in 1993, I think.

 

I'd forgotten what a good movie it was.

It was a good movie .... interesting where some of the actors' careers went after that, and it was a good story, too.

Wasnt this version a remake of the original from the early 70's with Matthau?

The Pelican Brief is based on the book of the same name by John Grisham.  The book was published in 1992.  You must be thinking of another movie.

Loved that movie. Have seen all of the movies based on Grisham's books and wish they would do more.

It was Denzel Washington and Julia Roberts. Don't tell me they remade this!!!!! One of my favorite movies.

I also recorded it but have not watched yet.  Looking forward to doing so.  Great film.
