@GenXmuse - I agree with you. I didn't like her when she was on the Bachelor. I've been watching and seems ok but boring.

A close friend of one of my daughters was chosen to be on the Bachelor with Emily (the one chosen). She dropped out before it started because she did not like how they chose some to be certain personalities-the mean girl, the catty girl, etc.

So I guess it was very scripted from the start to make it "interesting."

Maybe towards the end it becomes more real.

I don't know about any of the details with phones and things though. I bet there is a lot of waiting around!

I stopped watching long ago but did watch this last one with Joey because he just seemed like a

good guy and authentic.

I would definitely watch if you are on!

@on the bay That's so interesting that your gal pal's daughter was chosen to be on The Bachelor! Good for her for trusting her instincts and values and not going forward with being on the show. I do think that some of it really is scripted- especially all of these guys talking about love, kids and being so emotionally available and lovey dovey right off the bat. I bet there's a ton of waiting around on this series since cast members can't use their phones, internet, TV or gaming devices. Oh thank you! I'd love to be on The Bachelor and its great to know that you'd watch if I got on the show! I wonder how many weeks I'd stay on the show? I don't know if I would get the Final Rose, but I think I would make it to Home Towns .

@Jordan2 So true ! I'm not a prude either, but Jen leaves no mystery or build up in her kisses- they're all the same intense French-kissing makeouts right from the get go. I noticed in this week's episode that she eventually stopped reapplying lipstick/gloss between makeouts with the guys and just rolled with a bare mouth in some scenes . She's blinded by chemistry and passion with Sam the general contractor guy and he comes off as a too-smooth player type to me.

@Estellee Oh absolutely, Estellee! I'd definitely give a shout out to my QVC forum friends if I make it on the show. I'd even do my own QVC product placements: I'd wear my Anybody jogger sweatpants waiting for the Date Card in the morning or there could be a shot of me applying my RMS blush while getting ready for a One on One! : I will definitely try to apply next year.
