I thought there was an ongoing thread about the show in 2017 but couldn't find it.
DH and I have been watching this since it began; however, each time it returns, it seems to get more boring with each episode. It's to the point where we end up FFing on the DVR to get to about 5 minutes before the ending.
The conversations just keep going on and on and get nowhere IMO.
Anyone else's thoughts? TIA.

@HisElk1, I use to do a thread on this show, but I hardly post anymore (for various and sundry reasons)!
I am still watching and still enjoying it, the one complaint I have, is Tyler Perry drags the episodes out a whole season can be just one or two days, that is my biggest complaint!
Now that the police have found Quincy's body in Candy's backyard, I am anxious to see what happens next, if Veronica is going to keep her promise and defend Candance and Jeffrey! I think she is more interested now going after David's new girlfriend, so we will have to see what happens! Also, what will happen to Catherine, will she be arrested for murder, and will Wyatt be dead or alive? There are so many plots, and I have a feeling we are going to be left hanging on some!

@Hooty, thanks for your post. That's right, you're the poster that usually gives us the reminder lol.
This is the kind of show (for both DH and me) that at times, we wonder why we keep hanging in there. It's like we don't want to miss seeing Candace and Veronica "get theirs" which is long overdue IMO.
However, some of those conversations between any of the characters just seem to drag out way too long and there are times that one of us ends up falling asleep.
We will probably continue, but only by DVR so we can FF through those parts. Thanks for your thoughts. Hope to see you posting again.

I thought there was a current thread as well and I might be the last post on it when the new season started., but I am glad you started another one.
I must say I was disappointed to see Wyatt fall right back into his bad habits like nothing happened!
And when is Jim going to soak in a tub and clean up. I feel sorry for David and this girl he is such a nice guy that Veronica clearly took for granted but maybe this girl will fall in love with him and forgot all that other nonsense she has been doing with Candance. David is worth falling for and I know he can get down and dirty with the best of them.
And Candance what are they going to do with her she is a hot mess and Veronica too.

Oh, yes, does Mr. Perry drag each episode on and on. I find that I read something on my ipad and forget that I'm watching the show. too slow. And what word is used the most often? "What?" It's a time wasting word.
Veronica, Kathrine, Candace...none of them will get punished. Jim didn't. Wyatt didn't for the hit and run. I never heard of a law where if you don't own the property and there is a murder committed, you are not a prime suspect.
And yes, there are too many subplots. I can't keep up with it. What is the girl that David is liking supposed to be doing to him again? He's filed for divorce so it can't be to make his wife jealous...although she is. To break his heart, I guess.
All of that yelling Candace, her mother and Benny did in front of that child! So Stupid! The mother hitting Benny while she's praying. Mr. Perry, decide whether she's a good Christian or not. Personally, I don't think good Christians curse, at least not easily.
Those scenes at in the hotel lobby were ridiculous. How much of a scene to you have to make before hotel security escorts you out? How long should it take hotel security to come to your room after you call and say someone needs to be removed. Veronica could have killed that girl twice and disappearred before security came.
That love scene between the two guys was not believable at all. Funny, actually.

@Mmsfoxxie, that scene with Hannah, Benny and Candace was difficult to watch, particularly with little Q hearing all of her rants. Not something I expected to see and way over the edge in Perry's writing. It wasn't necessary IMO.
I also agree that it's getting to the point where there are way too many subplots and not sure whether we will continue.
