Jon looks older and happy.

Hope the other ones can break free from Kate soon.  I'm really glad Colin and Hannah are living with John.  They look very happy.  Kate just dumped him at that school.  I can't even imagine what that was like for him.

I thought Hannah just lived with Jon, not that he had custody of her.

I know he has custody of Collin.  After he was released from a treatment facility, there was a hearing that Kate never showed up for so Jon was awarded custody.

Those kids have been through a lot with both of those parents.

Jon now has custody of Hannah too, though the details were never revealed, Kate's decision. From what I've read it sounds like she let Hannah decide. Jon said the older girls still don't speak to him.

I think everyone in that family is messed up; including most of the kids.  (Courtesy of their parents.)

The best thing they can all do for themselves is to stay off TV.

I just feel bad for all of the kids.

The whole family is messed up.

Gotta wonder what Thanksgiving is going to be like in 5 - 10 years when they will all be adults.

I can only imagine that he felt abandoned, unwanted, unloved by her.

I vaguely remember an episode where one boy child (Colin?) was sick with the flu, and had had an upset stomach, so Kate made him sleep on the cold concrete floor of the laundry room, and he was crying.

Anybody else remember that?

I believe that once a child in Pennsylvania is 13, they can say where they want to live - with their mom or their dad.  I feel bad for the kids and Jon - that Kate is something else.  If you watched any of their show or her show alone, you would see that she was very hard to please on camera.  And if you can imagine she was showing her best side on the camera, can you imagine how she acted when the camera was off?  I'm sure she put him thru the wringer.
