Wow. 

Apparently 6 months ago they had a huge fight and Tarek ran out into the woods with a gun.  Christina called the cops thinking he was going to kill himself.  He says he just needed some time away and took the gun for protection from wild animals if needed.

I just read the statement they made about their separation.  

Looks like the pressure was too much for him to handle.   They have two small children and a very successful business.  

I really like their show.  Very sad

Wow, I'm very surprised. One of the things I enjoyed about the show was that they seemed to get along so well . . . I hope that whatever happens they can get along for the sake of their two small children.

Sad. We don't know what goes on in their personal life as far as personalities, etc. There is a lot of pressure on "ordinary people" who are suddenly in the media spotlight. They think they can handle it and find out maybe they can't.

I heard about the situation on the news today.  Too bad - a split is always hard.  I have never liked them or their show.  They hardly break a sweat -- too concerned about how they look.  They always make a good profit and then moan that they are broke.  I watched about 6 episodes years ago and that was enough for me.
