The first season was about the background of the characters.

2nd season is showing how each character is moving on up and/or grown in the past 2 yrs.  1 or 2 of the characters are still stagnant.

Last night was the season finale, I don't know if there will be a season three. In recent weeks they have killed off at least three characters and I'm surprised that Darlene's pimp let her leave.

Like Darlene said, "your mind isn't in the game anymore."  Making movies is his priority now.

 

Season 3 will be the grand finale....
