The Defeated on Netflix

Set in post WWII Berlin (1946) this series explores the assignment of a Brooklyn NY cop to Berlin to assist in establishing a police force.  He is also looking for his older brother who is considered AWOL after his service as the first troops to liberate Dachau.

 

There is some violence which can be difficult to watch but overall the series explores Berlin post-war as many may not have seen before.
