I think the actress who plays Hope is doing well portraying Hope as varying between stoic about Liam being with his daughter with Steffy then determined, even a bit desperate in her wanting to be with Liam.
I think both Hope and Steffy are more than a few ants short of a picnic to want Liam the Dolt. (His elevator is permanently stuck between floors)
Hope still comes off a bit “goody-goody” and rather preachy moralistic, even while jumping back into a relationship with Liam (and bed) when the dolt is obviously emotionally disturbed and maybe mentally ill. Not exactly a bright thing yet, we are supposed to believe Hope is intelligent.
(Both Liam and Hope have been pushed as morally superior, even while not being that way -but, their hypocrisy always seems to have an excuse.)
I have never liked that B&B pushes “destiny” couples. Not surprising though that Brooke would encourage Hope to go
after Liam.

@trenet I love your posts (the phrases and wording). I agree with what you said (about everyone).
That new girl (from London) has eyebrows that look like caterpillar. I have never had thin eyebrows but they've been 'formed'.
I know I'm being a B (Booger) but good grief! How many of these teenagers are we going to have shoved down our throats?
I'm so tired of seeing new people on this show and Y&R. Every other episode someone new is being introduced. Meanwhile stupid plot lines are coming out...boring stuff.
I suspect it's vacation time, maybe, I hope. But some on this show (like Y&R is dropping...dropping...).
I don't give a hoot about these teenagers and their love life...Are we supposed to care that she's upset about a young person moving on?

Hopeless has always been preachy and so aware of herself as a "role model" for "young women." She is also selfish and feels entitled to everything she wants because she is so pure and perfect and scantimonious. Of course she'll do anything to get what she wants, but that's ok because it's well . . . HER!
I have never been able to watch this show when she is in it. Then she married Fish Lips and that made it even worse. . .

My thoughts exactly. These women are supposed to be rich, independent and intelligent? So why are they wasting time on that idiot! Move on! LA is a big town. If you just HAVE to have a man in your life then I'm sure there are tons more that wd love to be with them!! I don't think the writers get that we don't live in the 50's anymore! Women survive just fine without men in their lives & can raise kids just fine on their own!! Geez!!

O.K. First Emma, then Xander, now the new eyebrow girl. I don't even know or
remember her name. Who really wants to get involved now in her story? She
and the others are probably just summertime filler. Anyway, why can't she
just do her job at Wyatt's. We don't need to follow her story and know her
background. Out to get Xander and befriending Emma. Boring.
These young actors are probably pretty cheap to employ.
Put our regulars on B&B not the newbies!

Great line ... "a few ants short of a picnic!" You have a real knack for cleverly sizing things up!
All of these characters leave so much to be desired! But when comparing Hope and Steffy, I'll always side with Hope. And yes Liam is the poster boy for indecisiveness, but to me he is far preferable to Wyatt (although I enjoyed Wyatt with Katie). I guess being just a half hour show the writers think we cannot handle too many characters (with the obvious exception this summer of introducing the very mind-numbing storyline, imo, of Emma, Xander, and now Zoe).
The destiny mantra of Brooke saying she belongs with Ridge has always baffled me as I think she has much greater chemistry with Bill ... and Ridge with Quinn!
Oh well, it all gives us stuff to critique!! But again, your posts are a delight!!

Do the writers really think school students are watching more in the summer, so they need to bring in all these younger actors on the show? Wouldn't they be watching it just as much year round with dvrs? Doesn't make sense.
Yesterday was ridiculous. Who is Zoe? She just shows up to paint a mural on Wyatt's wall? She hasn't been in the US long, so where did Wyatt find her? And why hasn't Bill reclaimed the beach house from Wyatt since he disowned both sons?
Sally and Wyatt kissing in the corner in front of Zoe while she's painting....and the next thing they're on the couch. I guess they weren't too concerned Zoe could come back at any time?
Well, let's hope Sally remembers how Zoe just happened to find her laptop. The question is, what would Zoe have against Hope, unless it's the fact that Zander works for her.
The storylines are all over the place right now.

Hi all B&B watchers and @yellowBeetle!
I know I heard that from Steffy too about her and Liam being together married and there for Hope. That's the old determined Steffy!
Well, snoozy, boring week so far. Zoe is an ex-girlfriend of Xander trying to make trouble.
What I don't like is that they never give Sally any sort of stability on a storyline. It always jumps into some sort of catastrophe and also hops from man to man. She's all over the map. Now the latest she is hired at Forrester and immediately they have Zoe put her as the predator behind the emails after one week. Do you know what I mean?
I thought of you again @yellowBeetle. Did you see Monday when Thorne and Katie were having bloody mary's? The celery stalks were huge and bigger than the drink. They looked like two big tree's. Cracked me up!!

I guess Zoe is the new Sheila for the younger generation?
