I saw this long ago...very disturbing, but well done.
Wonder what became of the little blonde girl shown.

Uhhhh, no. That is the one film that I will never watch again. Way too well done! 😉I get the heeby jeebies just thinking about it!
If you haven’t seen it, and like the genre, it is one of the best!

I haven't seen it in years but it's very well done. Here is a clip of the woman who played the little blonde girl. It's from 2018. It says she was 73 years old then.

Patty MCormack went on to play the same role on Broadway and was Oscar nominated for supporting actress in the film. She continued to act in movies and TV up until 2008.

This was a good show.

Thank you !! One of my favorite movies! I love that it feels very much like the stage play. (The movie was based on the Broadway play of the same name...same actors too, for the most part, I believe.) Do not miss the ending...after the movie actually ends there is a treat in the credits.
And Eileen Heckart , wow! Her role as the grieving mother of poor little Claude is absolutely magnificent, IMO.

That was one scary movie. I don't think I can bring myself to watch it again, given the stuff going on in my life right now. It was an excellent film, though. I need a movie that is funny and brainless. That's why I've been watching Laurel & Hardy. I have their complete collection of talkies.

Thanks for posting this. She certainly turned into a lovely woman!
I won't be seeing any newer version of it, however!
