There are lots of movies that I watch over and over and over.

This movie, which I'd loved when it came out during the late '90's, has been encored on the ENCORE CHANNEL and my husband and I have watched it many times.

Sweet and beautifully made.

Yes, this was a good one! I also saw School Ties on recently with a very very young Matt Damon, Ben Afflect, Chris Oconnell and Brendan Fraser! That was so good.......

I do too, but on my VHS tape.  I almost watched it a couple of nights ago.

@violann I agree, it's a favorite. I always get a kick out of Martin Sheen saying he'll pass Sydney a note in study hall.

"American President" is a an wonderful movie....always been a favorite of mine.

It is written by Aaron Sorkin who also wrote "West Wing."  He is a bright, articulate, and thought provoking writer.

It is definitely a movie that you can enjoy multiple times.

I love Annette Benning in that role.  She was perfect for it.

She is an agelessly beautiful woman, and luminous in this movie. Actually manages

"nuance" whereI most likely I would have been equally thrilled with "coy".

JUST LOVE HER!

Yes, I love, love, love this movie and have seen it several times....a wonderfully, light, entertaining movie done so very well...warm, touching and humorous...A great cast with Michael Douglas, Annette Bening and Martin Sheen... I also loved MIchael J. Fox in his role as Asst. to the President...He was terrific!...The entire cast in this movie was great.
