It's a two-hour premiere episode airing tonight from 8:00-10:00 PM ET. It's been a while since we saw the series, so it's nice it's back. This will be an interesting season to watch. They filmed the first three legs of the race in 2020 then shut everything down for 18 months due to covid. When they resumed the shoot in September 2021, they apparently used a chartered 757 to fly the teams from one location to another rather than rely on commercial transport. It sounds like they kind of did a flying lockdown bubble version of TAR. The cast, crew, and host, all apparently flew together on the jet and stayed isolated from as much outside contact as possible. The jet became their bubble and they all more or less stayed in the bubble.

I suspect we'll see a lot fewer crowd scenes and taxis and a lot more of the cast driving themselves places with very small crowds and public interaction.

Kind of a weird start with everyone starting from their homes and heading to their nearest airport. CBS then regrouped everyone at the London airport and unleashed them all at once. That made things a bit fairer. Otherwise, you would have had teams arriving hours, maybe days apart. A pretty good first episode overall. It'll be interesting to see how they handle the covid part on the third leg.

This is one of my favorite shows, and I was so happy to see it back on the air!  I love London and enjoyed seeing the familiar sights.  Since I can't travel myself right now, it's fun to watch them travel the world.

A nice assortment of racers, but embarrassingly uninformed and a poor representation of Americans.

How can they not know who Boris Johnson is or that a Bobby is a policeman? Thinking the UK was in the EU?

I've always loved this show so much and I'm glad to see it's back.  I'll probably record it. It will be interesting to see how they handle keeping the contestants safe during Covid.

I knew it was back but we did not watch it-will catch up on Demand.
