Jared Leto wanted his outfit to be like a real cat, like Lagerfeld's love cat. Lagerfeld left Choupette, his cat $13 million and said, in not exactly these words, that he loved the cat so much he wished he could marry it. The cat is a Birman.

Lagerfeld is not the only man in an unusual relationship with an animal. The famous scientist and inventor Nicola Tesla had a romantic relationship with his pigeon. He admitted to falling in love with the white pigeon. Tesla is not known to have had any romantic relationships with human partners. It's possible that his love of this pigeon was not of a romantic love but more of a fondness and as a companion.

It's not ususual for fashion and art people to express things in an over the top, dramatic, outrageous way. I take the statement to mean that he thought of the cat as his lifelong, perfectly suited companion. Which is not so unusual. I'm sure we've all felt that way about our soul mate pets. No pun intended with the perfectly suited phrase! But it works

I did not know that about Nicola Tesla and his Pigeon. How do you have a romantic relationship with a pigeon? Candlelight dinners, poetry, beautiful picnics on sunny days?

Wasn't there a woman in the last couple of years who married umm, was it a dolphin? A woman married a dog recently too. And I just read that a woman married her cat so landlord would be forced to let kitty stay in the apartment.

I googled - men have also married cats, dogs, etc.

So I think If Karl meant he actually wanted to marry his cat, he probably would have!

There are many news articles all over the net that use the figure of 13 mil as the sum the cat was supposed to inherit from KL.

She is currently cared for by Françoise Caçote. Cacote is supposed to see some of the inheritance along with the cat but she says that she and the cat have not received their money yet.

I wonder why kitty hasn't recieved any of her inheritence money? Seems like his estate should have been sorted out by now. I wonder if there are challenges to the will. hmm.

I am glad kitty has a caregiver.
