Read on Yahoo the other day that Pamela Anderson and Jon Peters have split after 12 days!
All of her previous "marriages" were short lived but this takes the cake!!

I never dreamed this marriage would go the distance, but really - 12 days?!
Why even bother getting married?

This struck me as so strange as they knew each other for decades! What could have possible surprised them about each other after they got married?

I don't know if I read this or heard it on entertainment radio but the guy was talking about how those two were friends for a long time a long time ago.
Then they met up and (I guess) felt the stirring as they say! Ha!
All of these people think of marriage as something disposable.
Who in the heck is happy all of the time anyway?
I do agree with you, 12 days is a bit short.
My mother was married 6 times to 3 men. My dad (the first...once) the other 2 lucky guys 2 times and 3 times).

They woke up on the 12 day, looked at each other w/their glasses on &
"Never argue with a fool. Onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."

I still associate Jon Peters with Barbara Streisand, where have I been lol

I would never 'LOL' someone's heartache.
Seems kinda...cruel.
Is it a short time? Of course.
I think Pam Anderson is one of those people who 'loves hard.'
Lots of people get married for a short/ish amount of time.
They get divorced only to do it all over again & again & again.
Why not just stay single w/out the paperwork of marriage?
But I'm sure there are members of this specific forum who
have been married multiple times, so...
I'd sure both thought it would last longer.

They never filed the legal paperwork, so they were never married. They just went through a "ceremony" and said they were married.
I admit I didn't think it would last either, given her track record, but 12 days and they need to step back and think about things? Seems to me they should've done that thinking before announcing to the world that they were "married". However, nothing this particular woman does would surprise me.
