I thought the clips weren't funny ... he was acting like a buffoon. It was like fake acting, but will watch tomorrow to check it out .

We both liked this show too. Was always a Ted Danson fan.

Always liked Cheers and the whole cast.
Found I couldn't get past 5-10 minutes of this new program. Deleted it from my playlist of things to record.
I enjoy programs like Mom, Last Man Standing, etc., for my comedy fix.
Have seen a trend in my choices to lots of things on the HIstory channel, which I don't believe I watched much of prior to the pandemic. They are holding my attention and I am learning things.

Guests on Wheel had too much coffee before going on air. That skateboard guy was not happy to be there.

I guess qwap like this gets green-lighted by desperate networks who bank on a star's name recognition and on their belief, probably somewhat justified, that the American public will watch just about anything they put out there. There is some really bad television that seems to somehow get on and stay on the air. It seems the networks gave up on even any pretense of quality long ago.

I have not watched a sitcom since Seinfeld left the airways, cant see that any of them today are worth watching. I will watch some of the golden oldies on ME TV and Antenna TV.

I watched Wheel also. We all know the one celeb does not need to drink too much coffee to screech most of the time. That guy was an amzing puzzle solver.
Glad the money was going to charities on behalf of all 3 celebs.

Same actors on these sitcoms over and over and they are just NOT funny ... I enjoyed Modern Family's storyline and different actors. But same with late night shows ... I enjoyed David Letterman most of the time or Jay Leno but not the new shows. Maybe I just don't get the humor any longer but it seems very immature to me ... I watch NO network TV comedy any longer ... it's all very calculated such as Melissa McCarthy falling over things ... sad !!
