TV and Movies

While I knew she is "the greatest thing since sliced bread," (remember that expression? LOL), I didn't realize the enormity of the situation.  My DD is leaving her husband home tonight and going to the concert with her best friend.  

Between buying all the "merch", apparently the slang for buying all her goodies, tickets, parking passes, et al, they are $helling out a pretty penny.  But just on a purely practical level, all the road closures in the area must be a nightmare for the local residents.  Tonight is the first of the three nights of her scheduled tour.  

They are having heightened security and there is a 20% chance of rain.  Hopefully the weather holds out and everyone has a safe and great time.  🎤🎶

Sorry, just trying to make conversation.  No need to alert any media, in fact that was the point of my post, that it makes such a media event.  

I realize it is not as riveting as talking about toilet paper ply and other such topics.  But thank you for your kind reply.

she is indeed a big deal, at least among my nieces and nephews. they've been flying around the world just to attend her concerts. they don't even give the expenses a second thought.

@SloopJohnB   I know she will have a great time!!!  I remember many many years ago my sister got to go to a Beatles concert.  It was an opportunity of a lifetime and she has great memories.  On one of my visits to Las Vegas also many years ago I got to see Celine Dion in concert.  So thankful that I got to see her.  Your daughter will have fun and remember the concert for years to come.  🤗

My granddaughter is a little young...but would love to attend a Taylor Swift concert.
