by the way Perry Mason was gay , too. I rest my case. Good bio was written on him.  He showed up with Natalie Wood on his arm at some socials. He got interested in her the feeling was not returned he was older, etc. Couldn't compete with Robert Wagner, I'm sure. ROFL

I saw that special a couple of years ago when TCM first aired it. One thing that struck me about him was that even after it became okay for an actor to admit his homosexuality, he never made a big deal about it the was some do. He said in the documentary that his private life was private and nobody's business but his and his partner's. I admired him for that. He seemed like a genuinely nice man who was happy with his life.
