TWO MAX VON SYDOW FILMS ON TCM TONIGHT

Chess with death anyone?

Two great films with the late Max Von Sydow are on TCM tonight:

8:00 pm The great Hannah and Her Sisters
10:00 pm The Seventh Seal with the famous scene of Max playing chess with Death

Watching these is time well spent!

I loved him in the Stephen King movie, "Needful Things".....he was great!

Max Von Sydow died this past March.

There used to be a poster here who was related to him. I believe he was her father-in-law. She used to pass on little tid bits about him-what he is doing now, etc. Anybody remember her?

What a superb actor, Von Sydow was, @Pearlee .   He and director Ingmar Bergman coming together were a such great team...
