LCK was pretty good. They had to take slimy ingredients (that Tom hates) and make him an edible dish. I would be a horrible judge of that as I hate slimy stuff more than Tom.
I'm still getting a kick out of watching Eddie on the main show. His absolute shock when he gets a compliment is pretty funny to watch. I'd like to see him win it all just to see his reaction. I'm not sure he'd believe them.

@gardenman Well said. My former boss was a firm believer in KISS.
Didn't Brandon have the filet? His dish and the other tartar dish looked awful. Probably for me I would never eat anything raw. He deserved to go home.
I would not know what to do with the cut Sarah had, but that sausage looked gray. Again I would never ear that. I think she needs to stop with saying she makes everything better than everyone else. She failed at the quick fire and the elimination challenge. She does herself no favors.
If I go out for a beef or steak dinner I would not want to see a speck of food on my plate for my meal. I would want a great steak or filet. Steak is one of my favorite foods.
I liked the quick fire challenge I did not know what a hot brown was. And I liked the guest judge. She was kind to all of the chefs.
I was happy for Eddie. I hope he keeps winning it is nice to see him smile and not always look so worried.
I think Adrienne and Justin seem to be coming into thier own as well.

I think it was a couple of years ago (maybe in Colorado?) when one of the chefs made Flintstone sized steaks (rib eyes?) with a huge bone attached and the judges raved about it. (The steak was almost bigger than the plates.) In this beef challenge they all just missed the mark by so much that it was absurd.
Sara and the sausage looked inedible to me. I don't like undercooked meat so beef Tartare is definitely a no go for me. The one chef somehow charred the outside of his beef but the center was raw. It was a relatively thin cut of meat too, so I don't know how he managed to pull that off. I was sorry to see Brandon go despite my early feelings about him. He'd really moderated lately and fit in nicely. But slimy, gluey, raw beef? Yeah, that's not a winner. Sara was very lucky he messed up so badly, or she'd have likely been gone for the sausage mess she made.

@gardenman I am with you on Brandon, he was growing on me too. I wonder if at the point when Tom came into the kitchen and made his comment if he had time to change his mind, and enough filet left to do another dish.
Eric's dish did not look good either. It looked like a bowl of bad oatmeal with specks of meat in it. I would have not eaten that either.
The butcher had so much pride in his work with his signature "Carne", I felt bad for him for so many bad meals being served.
Brian had the oppurtunity to serve a steak with the bone in he really blew it too.

I do remember the Flintstone steaks!! They were so massive.
That sausage that Sara made looked very gray. I wonder if it was ok to eat. She should have gone. Brandon's was bad but didn't think it was as bad as Sara's and I was shocked.

Much better show tonight; nothing like partying on a boat. I knew the Green team would win because of the partying and the food. Good job.
I also guessed who would go home. Not surprised. Bad move in the sun in the middle of the afternoon and in a hot tub yet w/shoes and socks on? LOL.
I felt bad for Adrienne and it was nice of her to thank Eddie for his help. Glad she was safe and her food was good since she was so sick and couldn't do much.

so disappointed in who went home.
really liked the chef and thought for sure he was going to go farther in the competition.
have not watched last chance kitchen yet.
that seemed like a tough challenge. everyone was sweating, all of the malfunctioning equipment, limited space.
LOVED seeing captains lee and sandy! #bravocrossover

Eddie just had a miserable show. He won last week, then his reward is to pick a team for a party and his picks weren't ideal. Kudos to Kelsey who's improved every week. Poor Eddie is always stressed and last night was him at his most stressed.

Yeah poor Eddie. Probaby the most fun person on his team was Brian.
It's funny how in hindsight you can see how important it is to embrace exactly what the challenge is. Like last week the Italian butcher calling out "Carne" while he was carving up the beef, & then they all just made wimpy little morsels.
Then last night it's a party boat challenge & Eddie picks the serious & reserved people!
You could tell right away the green team was more vibrant & energetic. Their jello shots & nibble-bags were a plus too.

On a sad note, Fatima Ali has passed away at age 29. I found out on Facebook since Padma was supposed to have a live chat and it was cancelled and I clicked on the post.
