Re: TOP CHEF RETURNS TONIGHT ON BRAVO 12/6/18

cannot say that i "hate" any of the chefs so far. remember in much earlier episodes where the chefs had to go and choose their own decor and items for their restaurants?

last chance kitchen has been good also.

Re: TOP CHEF RETURNS TONIGHT ON BRAVO 12/6/18

Restaurant wars went about as expected and I agree with the two sent off to LCK. Not a good restaurant wars, that's for sure. I have to watch LCK (my TV is refusing to connect to the Internet this morning) but I suspect one of those evicted to do well in the pure cooking challenges. Managing the front of the house was a disaster, but they were a good chef and that should help them in LCK. The winning chef from LCK apparently rejoins the show next week if I heard correctly. That seems quick.

The last few years, I've felt that LCK is a better show than TC.

RW Pt 1 was really just a long form commercial for Pt 2.

I like that they did 3 restaurants, but it just seemed like it was really about the menu and not about the restaurant this time around.

for sure you could see that one particular elimination from almost the beginning.

not sure if i liked the three restaurant concept. i think it is a bit early on to do that. you can tell that almost all of them had so much nervousness and indecision.

The right chefs got eliminated, especially Nini.  I really didn't like her from the beginning.  What a disaster!

I can't imagine all the judges eating that much food!

I will never understand why any of the contestants volunteers for front of the house.

It is pretty much a ticket out the door.

Nini was not prepared. Her desert also was too much responsibility on the other chefs. They were already behind with the oysters. Maybe they all thought they had it in the bag from the moment they were all on the same team, and making plans in a bath tub, LOL

Sarah, I too was rolling my eyes as she recited the menu. She is my least favorite, but I thought she was great with the diners and the servers.

Good for all of the North East team winning money. They did work together. And I guess the manifesto for the waitstaff helped.

All of the restaurants looked the same to me. I wish they would go back to the chefs doing it all themselves.

The season seems to be going buy quickly. It is one of my favorite shows, I wait forever for the next season, and in a blink it is done.

@lenapecci, I totally agree about volunteering for the front of the house.  I recall previous RW where they got eliminated for this.

The restaurants did all resemble each other except for Thistle where they had a picture of it and Thistles on the tables I think.

Sara has got to go and I said that right from the beginning.  If she's the one from KY, she thinks she's all that because she's from there. You don't dress that way for front of the house.  Too casual for me.  I like it when they dress up since it's the appropriate thing to do in any restaurant like those.

Not a good idea to do oysters when there's such a rush to get things to the tables.

Each season does go by fast for some reason or another and then we have to wait again it seems like forever.

I felt bad for Pablo but he would have been leaving sooner or later, I couldn't see him winning TC.  Nini deserved to go.  Was there not a LCK episode after this?

Nini really did deserve to go.  I never liked her from the beginning.

I think this was the last LCK and the person who wins is coming back next wk is what I heard.
