TLC, formerly The Learning Channel I now call The Leering Channel. Cheap entertainment for voyeuers, exploiting those willing to be exploited for a little money and fleeting faux fame by opening up their living rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms for public view. Those TLC targets for easy voluntary  exploitation include southern peoples, bayou peoples, Alaskans, religious sects (Amish, Polygymists and Hutterites) Visa seekers and others in thier highly scripted Far-from-reality cheap fleeting fame. Is so scripted too which takes away any reality from their filming. I had a friend who was featured on 90 Day Fiance and she now regrets any participation in thier scripted farce for ratings frumpy TV. Is only when viewers stop having an appetite for this below-the-belt far from reality TV will they change thier exploitation platform of talentless programs. Used to have to have at least some talent..........what happened has really cheapened TLC.
