I viewed Carl as mature beyond his years - he had to grow up fast and he had a good head on his shoulders.  It was a selfless act for him to shoot himself, knowing how hard it would be for Michonne or his dad to do it.

Two questions I have -

-What's with the helicopter?  It must be tied into Jadis' helopad.

-What's with the still of Rick leaning against a tree with what appears to be either a gunshot or stab wound?

I got excited thinking that Jadis may own & fly a helicopter.   But I don't know.

Depending on what kind of engine it has, it does not use regular gasoline, unless it's been modified.   Helicopters with a diesel engine obviously uses diesel fuel.    Some ot the trucks in TWD have diesel engines.    The helicopters that are not diesel use something called aviation fuel, which is more like kerosene.

I know, too deep in the weeds

I'm thinking the stab wound is from a recent fight, possibly teasing a fight he had with Negan.    I remember when Negan wanted Rick to cut off Carl's hand so a thought ran through my mind that Rick may have almost lost his hand in a fight, with Negan of course.

Just spitballing here.   I've found many of the spoilers on the internet are not accurate and we all know the writers are not following the graphic novels.

Love your assessments, @software.  They help keep me more awake during the show!

As to the comics, I once had a discussion with someone on the internet (I know, vague, but not here) about Shiva, and she kept talking about how it was in the comics, but we were discussing the tv show.  Some folks can't seem to focus.

I am waiting to find out what happened to Heath and also Dwight’s wife, Sherry.

There must be a reason Negan always wears a white arm band around his wrist and has from the beginning.

Morgan is going to transition over to FEAR, so both series will be joined...I wonder how that is going to happen.

Negan does not have any Captains that he can trust or that are alive....I wonder what will happen to Simon when he finds out he didn’t follow orders and killed the dump people.

i am kinda getting tired of Negan and the war,,,I wish the series would kill him off or befriend him or something so that everyone can move forward.

Wahoo, I'm so excited!  Tickets went on sale today for the season finale of TWD and the season opener of Fear the Walking Dead at our local theatre - IMAX sound with barcaloungers.  If you're interested, go to Fathom Events and put your zip code in to see if there is a theater near you.  This will be such a treat to see both these shows on the big screen!

Yes, these shows will still be on TV.  They're just showing on the big screen as something special for the viewers.

Re: THE WALKING DEAD

[ Edited ]

Whoa, last night kept me riveted.  I do think it is beyond ridiculous that Rick couldn't nail Negan with a machine gun and a flaming bat, so unbelievable, but it was good entertainment.  Now, we see what Jadis will do with Negan.  At one point, I thought the legs with boots were her legs.

I thought Talking Dead was so much better last night, and I love the girl Nicole, I think her name is, she is so insightful regarding this show and funny.

I remember "Georgie" from Criminal Minds, and glad to see some new is being brought in.  Trading food for music, fascinating, but then music is such a big part of most lives.

@mousiegirl

I couldn't believe that last night I was saying, "Come on, Rick, just kill him already" and then Negan dropped off the ledge.

Like you, I'm looking forward to what Jadis has in mind.

I fell asleep before Talking Dead so will have to wait until it shows up in On Demand.  I love Nicole, too.  She always has that notebook, or maybe it's several by now.  Did she have it last night?
