@Bhvbum I binge watched the entire series to date this summer, as I had missed quite a bit, and I was mesmerized all throughout, even though I had been watching for years. I bought the dvds cheaply on ebay, 1-7 set, and season eight recently.

I don't think you'll ever regret watching the series from day one.

The show was in its second season when a dear friend told me about it and I binged the entire first season. I've been hooked ever since.

@Cakers3 I didn't hear this reason, thought he was just written out as many are. Watched some of Talking Dead,said he got "the call," as if he didn't know he was leaving. but was bored, so changed the channel.

Where did that info come from? Tom Payne was on Talking Dead last night and from his comments, he was informed by Angela over the phone that his, character was being eliminated. It wasn't his choice.

He did say he was a little frustrated that he didn't get to use his martial art skills that much, but he was thrilled that he was finally able to show them on his last appearance...for now.

He will be back for flashback scenes when they show how Michonne and Darryl got those X scars on their backs.

He seemed to have a fine attitude about the whole thing and was very appreciative that he was chosen for the role. He also announced that he now engaged. Congratulations!

Many characters are just written out and killed off.
