THE MILLION SECOND QUIZ - Sept 9th on NBC

NBC has been promoting The Million Second Quiz vigorously lately. It's scheduled to premiere on September 9th, live from Manhattan and hosted by the ubiquitous Ryan Seacrest. (Shouldn't they have called this The Million Seacrest Quiz? But I digress).

This new show sounds similar to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, but the twist here is that it combines a knowledge of trivia, pop culture and current events with physical endurance.

The website www.nbc.com/million-second-quiz/ lists open call casting nationwide: New York, Boston and Philadelphia. They also allow potential contestants to submit a video online. There's an app on the website that allows you to play a mock version of MSQ.
