If you watched last night's (Sunday, Sept. 28th) Season 1 finale of The Lottery on Lifetime, when the hour ended, did you feel like a winner or a loser?

From the start, the story set in 2025, appeared to be an above-average sci-fi tale of a futuristic global infertility crisis. From IMDb.com: "Set in a world destined for extinction as women have stopped having children. When remarkably 100 embryos are successfully fertilized, a national lottery is held to decide the surrogates."

Suddenly a few weeks ago, it went wildly off the rails, with plots and sub-plots that seemingly came out of nowhere. The only thing missing was an alien space ship that crash landed on earth. I was wondering if anyone else who'd stuck with this show since July found the conclusion unsettling, implausible and improbable. Were you satisfied or did you feel cheated when it was all over?

It's unknown whether The Lottery was intended to be one season only, but it's hard to imagine how to continue the basic premise after this ending. Do you see any possibility for a second season?
