THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 7/7

Oh geez where to start. I'll do something brief and hope others will chime in.

I HATE that Turkish Fishnet chef. Sticking his finger into the jar of sauce on Wally's Waffle truck was disgusting. I was glad Tyler called him out on his behavior last week but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

I was glad

to see Bao Bei do so well, I really like them. They seem like a nice group.

Do NOT like having Stars and Stripes squads. Just stupid and divisive.

And that chef on the SoLA team had no idea that the red snapper would be fresh! Did he expect to get it all deboned and ready to go? That was just dumb.

I saw a few dishes I would have enjoyed trying but a couple of teams used way too many jalapenos for me. I don't eat them or any peppers.

I'll think of more stuff later but hope to see more comments! Thank you.

@Sooner I get it. Years ago a place I worked at had a Mexican food truck that came by daily. The people were the nicest ever, everything was sparkling clean and the food was absolutely fresh and delicious.

@Love my grandkids

So totally agree with you! I think Fishnet should be eliminated just because of his attitude. I'm hoping karma will bite him in the a$$. I also like Bao Bei.

Re: THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 7/7

The turkish man on Fishnet is disgusting and rude. He seems to justify his behavior. I don't know how a woman could be attracted to this ignorant man.

On the other hand, I like Wally's Waffles and glad to see they are doing good. Bao Bei appears to have gotten their act together.

I am not thrilled with this season. The teams Stars and Stripes was not a great idea. I like when they compete individually. I find it hard to keep interested in the process. I will continue to watch just to see who wins. The cash prizes is a new addition. It reminds me of Top Chef competition.

Next week they are in LA. Should be interesting.

@elated I also miss seeing them do their shopping. I always thought it was great fun to watch.

I hate the medals nonsense. I felt sorry for Carolina who makes the embanadas when her dough got funky

because of the humidyt but she should have realized that. I was glad she redid her dough just by "feel" and that it worked out. They seem like nice people too.

I thought only letting 4 of them have Justin Turner try their food was crappy. They were all trying so hard I thought that was just mean to do that.

Re: THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 7/7

Just finished watching last night's episode and am smiling ear to ear about the team that left.  Fishnet is next on my list.

I don't care for the Stars and Stripes concept at all. It will be interesting to see what happens next week with an uneven number of teams.

If they continue with the teams idea I wish they would shuffle them from week to week.

The teaser for next week's show about the milk in the fish and cameras inside the trucks piqued my curiosity enough that I may watch when it airs instead of waiting until the next day or so as I usually do.

Re: THE GREAT FOOD TRUCK RACE 7/7

@Marp  Yeah, that milk in the fish intrigued me too. I think even tho it'll be recording I will watch it "live'. I think at least one team will be surprised in not a good way by the cameras. And I hope it's Fishnet.

The team that lost was just awful. I hope Wally's or Bao wins just because they are the nicest.

The team doing tacos don't seem that organized or very good, honestly. I just find them blah and boring.

@Love my grandkids,  I don't have an inkling why but my "favorite" at this time is Plates on Deck.  I don't think they will win but there is something about them (their personalities?) I like.  Hope they don't disappoint me.

@Marp I was trying to remember that name. I like them too and would like to try their food.
